The facility of group registration has been made available for Yatris intending to undertake the Yatra
in a group of 5 or more members.
- Minimum & Maximum Limit:
- A group can consist of 5 to 30 members.
- Organizations or travel agencies can also register larger groups.
- Application Form:
- A designated Group Registration Form (GRF) must be filled.
- The form can be downloaded from the Shri amarnathji shrine board official SASB website or collected from authorized bank branches.
- Medical Certificate:
- Every pilgrim must submit a Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC) issued by SASB authorized doctors only.
- The certificate ensures that pilgrims are medically fit for the high-altitude trek.
- Identity Proof:
- A valid government-issued ID proof (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, etc.) is mandatory.

How to Register a Group for Amarnath Yatra 2026 – Step by Step?
To apply for the Yatra permit under Group Registration Facility, the Group Leader (one of the
intending pilgrims of the group) shall have to send the following documents in respect of each
member of the Group by registered post at the address indicated above:
a) Filled in Application Forms.
b) Original copies of the prescribed Compulsory Health Certificates (CHCs) issued by the
Authorized Doctor/ Medical Institutions.
c) One passport sized photograph of each applicant, which is to be signed by the concerned on
the front side of the photograph.
d) Yatra Registration Fee @ ₹250 per Yatri.
e) Mailing address of the Group Leader, along with mobile number, and e-mail ID.
